in my last workshop there was a story so bad that the only comment i wrote was on the last page and it just said “nope.” sometimes being constructive just doesn’t work.

I once skipped a workshop class because I knew I would have nothing good to say about the piece being worked on that night. I was totally willing to take the attendance hit on that one.
